Timelines of World Art

These timelines of world art are designed to provide readers with an overview of significant moments in art history from all over the globe. Each of the six geographical regions offers three to four timelines organized by a specific span of time, and each moment describes an important event in the visual arts. All moments link to articles in Grove Art Online, and many moments are accompanied by illustrations.
